Join us for a relaxed 5 mile women’s group walk through the beautiful countryside around Mereworth.

This lovely route takes us out from Mereworth through a mix of orchards and open fields before heading into Mereworth Woods, where we’ll enjoy the peace and shelter of the woodland before looping back towards the village.

Laura was classically trained at The Guildhall School of Music in London and focussed her earlier years on opera, before switching over permanently to indulge her passion for singing jazz. 

With her very distinctive tone, Laura enjoys performing a wonderful mix of jazz standards recorded over the years by the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holliday, Peggy Lee, Etta James, Nina Simone and many more . Anything from ‘Fly Me To The Moon’, to some Latin jazz with ‘Girl From Ipanema’ plus some beautiful, less widely recognised, jazz pieces like ‘I Fall In Love Too Easily’ and ‘Desafinado’.
