Appearance: The wine is clear with medium intensity on the color, presenting a salmon pink hue and refined bubbles, a sign of its quality and careful production process.
On the nose: The wine is clean with a medium intensity. Its primary flavors are lychees, pink pearl apples, and a bouquet of flowers. On the back of the palate, a vibrant grapefruit finishes and intense acidity from a cool-climate sparkling wine. The wine is developing.
On the palate: The wine is Brut , with a vibrant medium (+) acidity; the alcohol percentage of this wine is 11.5%vol abv; it is a medium body, with a creamy mousse and a medium (+) intensity with primary flavors of raspberries, pink peaches, a bouquet of rose flowers and aftertaste of grapefruit finish. The finish of this wine is pronounced.

Growing & Production
Mereworth Pink is made from a blend of Estate grown Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier from a single vintage. This wine is intended to be both fun and fruity yet luxurious and bold. Through meticulous winemaking to preserve freshness and aroma in the base wines and by being confident in our blends, delicacy and freshness is paired with exuberance and power.
Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay are the holy trinity of varieties in sparkling wine making which prosper on the slopes of the Greensand Ridge. Chardonnay brings the crisp back bone to the wine, Pinot Noir the structure and fruit, and Pinot Meunier a delicate aroma which evolves so gracefully.

On the nose, the wine is clean and pronounced. The primary aromas are peaches, roasted pineapple, and Kent cherries, with secondary candy ginger, brioche, and toast almond flavours. The wine is developing.
On the palate: The wine is BRUT, the acidity of this wine is medium (+), with a medium 13% of alcohol, the body of this wine is medium (+), with a line creamy round medium body, and a pronounced intensity flavours of peaches, roasted pineapple, Kent cherries with secondary flavours of candy ginger, brioche, and toast almonds.

Mereworth White from Black is made exclusively from Estate grown Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier and crafted from a single vintage. This wine encapsulates the hedgerow fruits and plum orchards that surround the vineyard. This wine is released at the perfect timing when the balance between fruit derived freshness and deep complexity evolved during bottle aging is achieved.
Pinot Noir matures excellently on the sunny slopes of the Greensand Ridge where a carefully selected blend of predominantly Burgundian clones produce low yielding, concentrated fruit that give power and structure to our wines whilst encapsulating the essence and aromas of the Kentish strawberry fields, plum orchards and hedgerow fruits that surround us.
