Nigel is one of the most highly regarded and in demand guitarists on the UK jazz scene today.

He spent three years with UK funk legends - the James Taylor Quartet, was voted No.1 in the 2016 British Jazz Awards for “best guitarist” and is also a regular performer at Ronnie Scott’s, where he’s played around 600 times. His blend of flowing bebop lines and deep blues feeling has made him popular with jazz, blues and funk audiences across the World.

Laura was classically trained at The Guildhall School of Music in London and focussed her earlier years on opera, before switching over permanently to indulge her passion for singing jazz. 

Sam has performed at the Albert Hall, toured Australia with Grammy nominated pianist Judy Carmichael, frequently performs at Ronnie Scott’s jazz club and recently toured the UK with singer Nina Clark playing the music of Ella Fitzgerald and Joe
Pass.

Sam was commissioned to write and perform music for the Wandsworth Jazz Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall for the 2022 London Jazz Festival and recently played at LSO St Luke’s for the 2024 London Gypsy Jazz Festival.

Jennifer is a versatile singer (and violinist) with a beautiful, light and warm
tone. Based in Tunbridge Wells, she holds residencies across the southeast of
England, and has performed at the Rye International Jazz & Blues Festival,
Pizza Express Live, and alongside John Harriman, Alex Ho, Iain Rae and Harry
Whitty. Her EP "Skylark", recorded with pianist David Hall, bassist
Paul Beeching and drummer Andy Hall, is out now and is a celebration of three
tracks important in her transition from classical to jazz singing.

Leon has played and recorded with many leading jazz artists including: Peter King, Jim Mullen, Spike Robinson, Clark Tracey, Steve Brown, Dave Green, Christian
Brewer, Damon Brown, Alex Garnett, Matt Wates, Steve Fishwick and Nat Steele.

He has performed regularly at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, 606 Club, Pizza Express Soho, Jamboree Barcelona, as well as many of the UK’s jazz venues and
festivals. 

Beginning his career in Venezuela, Aleph recorded as a session guitarist with Simon Diaz, Cecelia Toth and Maria Rivas. In the UK, he has recorded with Andy Watts Quartet, worked with Frank Ocean and Elton John and was the guitar and singing coach for Simon Bird in ‘The Inbetweeners 2’ movie. 

Currently Aleph is working with award winning jazz singer Georgia Cecil, recording guitars on her latest album and performing in her live band at renowned venues, notably Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club, Soho. 

With her very distinctive tone, Laura enjoys performing a wonderful mix of jazz standards recorded over the years by the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Billie
Holliday, Peggy Lee, Etta James, Nina Simone and many more . Anything from ‘Fly Me To The Moon’, to some latin jazz with ‘Girl From Ipanema’ plus some
beautiful, less widely recognised, jazz pieces like ‘I Fall In Love Too Easily’
and ‘Desafinado’.

We are very excited to bring to you an evening of sensational Latin Jazz. Mark your calendars for Thursday 21st August to witness the exceptional talent of our Latin Jazz trio featuring Heidi Vogel on vocals, Aleph Aguiar on guitar, and Jansen Santana on percussion.

We will also be serving a delicoius BBQ. (to be paid for on the night).

Stephen is a multi-talented guitarist, double bassist, and composer
specialising in jazz. Winner of the Canterbury Festival Composition Prize,
Stephen has performed at Brecon Jazz Festival, Edinburgh Jazz and Blues
Festival and the Canterbury Festival, as well as venues including The Vortex
and The Royal Festival Hall.

Rosie is a versatile jazz singer with smooth, soulful vocals. Over the years, she’s
enjoyed performing with different bands at the likes of Moor Park mansion and
the Kings Theatre Portsmouth. With her knowledge of the Great American Songbookand beyond, Rosie moves between swinging jazz and Latin numbers like ‘All of Me’ and ‘Wayfaring Stranger’ and chilled classics such as ‘Autumn in New York’ and ‘Georgia on My Mind’.
