Spend some time in the vineyard at Wateringbury and enjoy a relaxed, guided tour with winemaker Scott Gebbie on Friday 26th June. He’ll meet you in the barn and walk you through the essentials, from the equipment used in the vineyard to the day-to-day viticulture practices.
You’ll hear about the Greensand soil that shapes the character of the vines, the different grape varieties grown here, and what’s happening in the vineyard at that moment in the season. With a glass of Mereworth in hand, you can stroll through the vines and get a feel for how everything comes together in a laid-back, informal setting.
After the tour, you might want to carry on the experience by booking a table back at the winery in Brewers Hall Oast.
Tours will commence at 11.30am and 1.30pm. Tickets are £15 per person and include a 60 minute tour of the vineyards as well as a glass of Mereworth Sparkling White From White 2022, Pink 2022 or White From Black.
