Julie's May Supper Club at Mereworth Winery

A fully guided tour and tasting of Mereworth Wines' vineyard and winery with founder William Boscawen, or head winemaker Scott Gebbie.

This is a unique opportunity for a complete tour of the award winning Mereworth Wine's vineyard and winery, private and exclusive to your group of up to 15 people. The south facing slopes of the Kent Downs, and the Greensand Ridge in particular, benefit from perfect growing conditions, as well as providing one of the most awe-inspiring views in Kent. From this vantage point, we will walk your group around the vines where Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes are grown. You'll learn about the qualities of each of these grapes, and the dedicated work that goes into managing the vines from flowering in the Spring through to harvest in early Autumn.

Your group will then make your own way, by car, a short distance down the road to Mereworth Winery & Taproom. See for yourselves where the grapes are crushed, pressed, fermented and aged, as we talk you through the Traditional Method used to transform the grapes from the vineyard into exceptional English Sparkling Wine. You will then take part in a fully tutored tasting of our sparkling wines.

This experience lasts approximately 2 hours, including travel time between the sites. Travel between sites is not included so own transport will be required.
